EPIP 2016 Doctorate Workshop

This year’s EPIP pre-conference doctorate workshop is organised and hosted by Professor Paul Jensen (University of Melbourne) and Professor Martin Kretschmer (University of Glasgow).

The EPIP 2016 Workshop will offer a structured program of intimate and informal presentations by experts in the fields of economics, law and intellectual property. The workshop will be structured as follows:

  1. An introductory lecture from Professor Paul Jensen on 'Choosing a Good Research Topic'.
  2. A lecture from Professor Martin Kretschmer on 'Legal method and innovation policy: Disciplinary tensions'.
  3. Presentations from the attending students on their research topic/paper/proposal.

The afternoon will conclude with the awarding of a prize for the best presentation.

The Workshop will be held at Pembroke College, Oxford University, on the 3rd of September 2016. The EPIP 2016 Workshop is open to all postgraduate and postdoctoral students conducting research relating to any topic on intellectual property.
